Handling Mutual TLS

Mutual TLS is a core component of API security monitoring. Once configured, APIContext continuously validates that your mTLS setup works correctly from production — providing audit evidence for compliance teams.

To add Mutual TLS to an API authentication, you first need to define the type of authentication the monitor will use by selecting Authentication Settings > Create New Authentication.
At the bottom of the page where you create the authentication is a link marked "Advanced"
