Get notified of APIContext platform status
Subscribe to the APIContext status feed to hear about incidents, service interruptions, and planned maintenance without checking a page.
Prerequisites
- An RSS reader, or a workspace tool that can follow an RSS feed (Slack, Microsoft Teams, or an RSS-to-email service).
Steps
-
Open the service status page. Under Recent updates, it lists incident reports, service updates, and maintenance notices.
-
Copy the feed address:
https://docs.apicontext.com/status/rss.xml(open the feed). -
Add the feed address to the tool you want notices in:
- RSS reader: add it as a new feed or subscription.
- Slack: install Slack's RSS app in your workspace, then subscribe a channel to the feed address.
- Microsoft Teams: add an RSS connector or workflow to a channel and give it the feed address.
- Email: give the feed address to an RSS-to-email service.
Each tool's own help explains where to paste a feed address.
What a notice contains
Each item in the feed has a title (for example, "Service interruption - monitoring queue"), the date it was posted, a short summary, and a link to the full notice on the status page.
The status page and its feed are the only official sources of APIContext service status. To report a problem you see in your own monitors, contact support.
Next steps
- Contacting us: sales, support, and service status.
- Setting alerts: get notified when your own monitors fail.
